Shanell Onyx Series One
I want to talk about Onyx. I love her. I haven't been into dolls long. At one point I found them too creepy to keep in my room. Only Monster High was welcomed and one Bratz doll, that was it. So, when I heard about the Creeprodocuction released in May of 2022, I wanted it. I need to get the reproduction of my childhood favorites, but I was too late. Clawdeen, Draculaura, Frankie, and Lagoona were sold out, bought by fellow fans and some resellers. Disappointed, I stood in the toy aisle surrounded by barbies, mermaids, and other dolls I don’t know about and cared very little about. I looked down, on the last self, and saw an iridescent box. I took a step back and saw a beautiful black, white, and grey collection of dolls. It was so different. After looking at all six dolls I was drawn to Shanelle Onyx. Her shimmering midnight skin and the strike of white cutting through her floor-length black hair, collected into a high ponytail was entrancing; I had to have her. But I didn't come in for her. What if my mind just settled on her because I couldn't get the ghouls I originally set out for? I waited three days, and I still wanted her, so I got her, and changed her clothes. And thus started my Shadow High collection.
