Boo York- Doll Lot

I found a doll lot. I believe it was a doll lot. More than one doll was a part of the deal, 3 specifically, so I'm calling it a doll lot. Anyway! Dolls, especially G1 Monster High dolls are expensive. I got my Honey Swap Circ-du-Freak (in box) for 80 USD, and any doll I got for 20~26 dollars came out of the box, and without a lot of their OG accessories, maybe they came with one or two, but for the most part, it was just the doll. Sometimes I would find dolls around that price point, but with missing limbs. However, I found three dolls from Monster High's Boo York for 75 USD in total!

We have Catty Noir, Elle Eedee, AND *drum roll please* LUNA MOTHEWS!!!!!! Each, I paid about 25 dollars. For me, it was worth it. I'm reentering my Monster High days, and just now entering the doll collecting market. So, price wise I'm still figuring out what is appropriate to spend on dolls that are no longer in production. If the dolls are missing things that leave them unrecognizable to me or the replacement parts are nowhere to be found/ the same price as the doll, leave them exactly where they are. For these three ghouls they were missing something, but it didn't dissuade the singing in my heart when I checked out.

Catty Noir doesn't have her headpiece, but she has her tail, purse, shoes, and clothing items. Elle Eedee, her name is pure serotonin, has her dress, cape, and body plate, but not her hair piece or her shoes. Luna Mothwes has everything; her outfit, wings, hairpiece, and shoes. None of the dolls come with their stand, but that wasn't a deal breaker for me. For me, the detail of the doll from the overall sculpt to the individual details that make Elle a robot, Luna a moth, and Catty Noir a Cat is what I care most about when doll searching. But I still ask the question, did I spend too much on these dolls? Would you have bought the lot?
